Honda Space

As part of a challenge from the Honda Innovation team, my group was tasked with answering: How might customers spend time in a fully autonomous (Level 5) vehicle—alone or with others?

Together, we conceptualized Honda Space, a modular interior system that transforms self-driving cars into personalized lifestyle environments. Inspired by LEGO’s flexibility, we envisioned customizable “kits” that convert the vehicle cabin into dynamic spaces for productivity, entertainment, or relaxation, featuring reclining massage chairs, immersive VR setups, holographic workstations, and more.

I served as Project Manager and Lead Designer, co-developing the concept and leading its execution from idea to final pitch. I:
- Designed the modular interior environments, blending functionality with future-forward aesthetics
- Led the creative direction and product storytelling
- Used AI tools to assist in visual ideation and rendering
- Created all the final visual assets and high-fidelity renders
- Guided the team’s process, ensuring a cohesive vision and presentation

This project reflects my passion for immersive experience design, emerging technologies, and translating speculative ideas into compelling, user-centered solutions.
